On afternoon of Jul. 6th, according to the document spirit and requirements the Notice On Arrangements To Commemorate The 96th Anniversary Of The Founding Of The CPC (EXZF [2017] No.2) by “two studies, one action” study, education and coordination group of Hubei Provincial Party Committee and the Notice On Arrangements To Commemorate The 96th Anniversary Of The Founding Of The CPC (WXZF [2017] No.1) by "two studies, one action” study, education and coordination group of Wuhan Municipal Party Committee, to commemorate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, embrace the upcoming 19th National Congress of the CPC and promote normalization and institutionalization of "two studies, one action", the party branch directly under the school of International Education of JHUN of the CPC held party-themed day activities and regular organization activities. In the first part, which were the party-themed day activities, the oath of the CPC was reviewed and the party membership dues were collected on the site. Secretary Lei Wanzhong hosted the discussion where the advanced deeds of Liao Junbo were studied. In the second part, which were regular organization activities, Vice President Chen Kai took the lead to conduct self-criticism.
Secretary Lei Wanzhong pointed out in studying advanced deeds of Liao Junbo that we all should learn from Liao Junbo to never forget the original will, work in a down-to-earth manner, maintain integrity in performing official duties, and personally practice Party’s policies to the grassroots and masses for the benefit of the people in real earnest. Liao Junbo used to be a member of Municipal Standing Committee and Deputy Mayor of Nanping, Fujian Province, Secretary of Party Working Committee of Wuyi District, secretary of the County Committee of Zhenghe and was awarded “National outstanding county committee secretary” by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee in June 2015. In his life of 48 years, the “pure selflessness was one of his qualities, making him an excellent public servant with party member quality and party spirit to silently warm and inspire cadres and the masses around him.” He explained how to be an excellent public servant with actual actions and practiced "loyalty, incorruptness and responsibility" with his life. Loyal to the party, Liao Junbo served the party and the masses. He was highly responsible in whatever position and took firm stand on major issues of principle to consciously practice the value pursuit of members of the Communist Party. He dared to innovate in management. We should learn his selfless dedication and the spirit of serving the masses. He served the people with heart and soul. With the service awareness, he cared about work, study and life of workers, listened to them and reflected their voice. Do practical things, do good deeds and solve difficult problems for the masses.
In the self-criticism part, Vice President Chen Kai pointed out that the regular organization activities are an important part in further deepening the normalization and institutionalization of “two studies, one action” study and education activity in accordance with the requirements and work deployment of the Party Committee of JHUN. The CPC should constantly adopt criticism method and self-criticism method to review mistakes and shortcomings in their own work, educate their party members and cadres, and promptly correct their mistakes. First, criticism and self-criticism are powerful weapons to conquer oneself and defeat enemies. Second, criticism and self-criticism are the touchstones of democratic politics. Third, criticism and self-criticism are the guarantee of good ideological style. He believed that as a communist party member we should have the courage of self-criticism, help comrades, give play to teamwork and put forward views and opinions in an open and honest manner and that we should dare to face our own shortcomings for self-analysis to constantly reflect on ourselves and try to improve ourselves. It is expected that mutual criticism both sticks to the principles and maintains the purpose of unity.
By learning from advanced deeds and self-criticism of Liao Junbo, all the party members of the school were able to be strict with themselves, take the lead to promote righteousness, consciously resist temptations, and be loyal to the party and upright. Moreover, exchanges, consensus and improvement in the process of finding shortcomings will promote steady progress and development of individuals, the school and JHUN.
