On the afternoon of Jul.4th, at the No.105 Conference Room of the School of International Education of our university, the Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange Sun Ping, Vice Director Wei Feng, Clerk Li Xingni, Dean of the School of Economics and Management Hu Jinlin, Secretary of the School of Mechanical Engineering Sheng Jiqun, Deputy Dean of the School of Civil Engineering Liu Jinjun, Deputy Dean of the School of Computer and Information Science Li Zhimin came to the School of International Education of our University for investigation and guidance of work. The Secretary of the School of International Education of our university Lei Wanzhong, Deputy Dean Chen Kai attended the forum.
Chen Kai, Vice Dean of the School of International Education of our university, gave a warm welcome to the arrival of the Representatives of Hubei Engineering University and played the advertising video of Jianghan University “In JHUN - Meet the Best of Yourself” and the advertising video of the School of International Education. At the meeting, Deputy Dean Chen made a specific introduction to the Sino-foreign cooperative education project, situations of the international students in the school, short-term groups studying in China, implementation and publicity reports of the international student activities, students’ overseas short-term exchange programs, language training and other aspects of the situation of our school. Subsequently, the two Parties exchanged views on the implementation of Sino-foreign cooperative education projects, enrollment of the international students, orientation of the management system of the international students, identification of teaching workload, dormitory management, financial management, measures for the use of funds of the international students and other issues.
The Representatives of Hubei Engineering University also visited the apartment of the international students in our school. Through the exchange and visit, they had learned more about the management, teaching, accommodation and other aspects of the situation of the international students in our school, and fully affirmed the work of all aspects of the School of International Education in our university.
