On Jul. 7th, Pan Jie, a police officer from Exit and Entry Administration Department of Wuhan Public Security Bureau was invited by the school of International Education to give a lecture on safety education for summer vacation for all MBBS international students of clinical medicine of JHUN, which was attended and hosted by Chen Kai, Vice President of the School of International Education.
Three aspects, namely, general information of Wuhan, Chinese law and suggestions for international students were introduced on the lecture. Officer Pan Jie said Wuhan is located in central China. As the capital of Hubei Province, it is divided into Wuchang, Hankou and Hanyang by the Yangtze River and Hanjiang River. It is connected by many bridges and has plenty of places of interest such as the Yellow crane tower, the East Lake, Guiyuan Temple. It is proceeding fast on internationalization process with various foreign companies and multiple international routes. For common knowledge in law, she explained emergency phone calls and conducted law awareness publicity in fire prevention, guard against theft and fraud, traffic safety, off-campus accommodation, international students and legal residence for international students and used specific cases to remind them of safety issues in daily life and laws and school regulations to be observed.
Finally, she hoped that the international students will study hard and enjoy their summer vacation at JHUN, and wishes them success on study to pay back their respective motherland and family.
