Delegation of University of Lincoln Visits JHUN for Exchange

On Nov. 2nd, 2016, Delegation of University of Lincoln, comprised of four peoples including Professor David Cobham, the Acting Vice President of University of Lincoln and the President of the School of Computer Science, and Ms. Grace, the Director of University of Lincoln China Representative Office, visits Jianghan University (JHUN) for comprehensive exchange on international exchange and cooperation program, in order to promote the exchange and cooperation between JHUN and University of Lincoln. Li Weidong, the Vice President of JHUN, and relevant leaders of Office of Foreign Affairs, School of International Education and School of Mathematics and Computer Science of JHUN attend the conference.

  

  

During the conference, delegation of University of Lincoln and leaders of JHUN negotiate on proposals on University of Lincoln’s degree program and non-degree program (for exchange students) for the year 2016~2017, long-term program(co-cultivation for doctoral students), short-term program(teacher training and micro study in summer) and other relevant issues. Subsequently, they visit the School of International Education, and make academic report and discuss scientific research cooperation in the School of Mathematics and Computer Science.

  

Leaders of JHUN express that JHUN will take it as an opportunity to make full use of professional and disciplinary advantages, enlarge effects of specialty, which is an important measure taken for education internationalization. Leaders of JHUN also express that they hope to further strengthen close cooperation on educational cooperation programs and scientific research projects between JHUN and University of Lincoln.

It’s also an internationally renowned research university, with more than 2000 international students from more than 50 countries at present.
