On May 21, the screening test of the “2016 Overseas Travel Plan for Outstanding College Students from Hubei Colleges and Universities” and the “IETC Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Camp Project” was organized in the Staff & Students Activity Center of our school, relevant leaders and teachers from the Teaching Affairs, Students Affair Department (Office), Youth League Committee, School of Foreign Studies, School of International Education and other schools and departments joined the works including invigilation, marking and interview judge. Many students from various colleges attended the two programs, and the assessment and selection were developed complied with the principle of “Fair, Impartial, Open, Voluntary and Preferential”.
The examination of “2016 Overseas Travel Plan for Outstanding College Students from Hubei Colleges and Universities” was divided into two parts including written examination and interview. The written examination included listening, vocabulary, translation and writing, which examined the English comprehensive level of students in all-round, and the interview contained self-introduction in English, reason for applying the program and examiner questions which tested the comprehensive quality of the students.
The screening test of the “2016 IETC Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Camp Project” just set up interview, which was divided into three parts including self-introduction in English, views on innovation and entrepreneurship and examiner questions, and tested the English level, innovation and entrepreneurship theory knowledge and practical ability to the students in all-round.
The school would assure the designated dispatched list of “2016 Overseas Travel Plan for Outstanding College Students from Hubei Colleges and Universities” and “IETC Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Camp Project” through the examination performance and combination of the opinions from their colleges and comprehensive performance of the students in the school.
