The School Organizes the International Students to Attend the “China Exploration - Sports and Culture Competition for International students in China (Hubei zone)” for the First Time and Receives Excellent Result

Our school organized the international students to attend the second “China Exploration - Sports and Culture Competition for International students in China (Hubei zone)” for the first time in Wuhan Institute of Physical Education on May 12, and competed with the delegations from Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Central China Normal University and other universities. Under the difficult situation of less students, heavy learning tasks and short race release time, our school received perfect grades of the fourth in 3V3 basketball match, the fifth in orienteering and the seventh in team score.

Attending this match is aimed at implementing the spirit of the National Medium and Long Term Plan of Educational Reform and Development (2010 - 2020), and practically carrying out the Plan of Studying Abroad in China, enriching the extracurricular culture life of the international students in our school, optimizing the environment of studying abroad, comprehensively displaying the mental outlook and enterprising spirit, expanding the social influence of the international students work of our school and enhancing the students’ sense of identity and integration to Chinese society and the sense of group honor to our school.

The match of “China Exploration - Sports and Culture Competition for International students in China (Hubei zone)” was sponsored by Hubei Provincial Department of Education, presented by Wuhan Institute of Physical Education, and jointly assisted by Hubei College Sports Association and Hubei College Management Association of Students Studying in China. The match adhered to the ideas of sports building, culture singing, team work and Sino-foreign integration, and aimed to all the national college students from abroad and China. Lei Wanzhong, the secretary of the School of International Education, was designated as the leader of the delegation, and took part in the match with 3 coaches, 8 international students and 2 Chinese student athletes.
