In 23 of March, The Closing Ceremony for Chinese Culture Visiting Scholarship Program for Japanese Students of 2018 was held in the conference hall of SIE, Jianghan University. The Party Secretary Mr. Lei Wanzhong, of School of International Education presented each of the Japanese visiting student the diploma for their study of this program, signed by Vice Chancellor of Jianghan University, as well as their report card of courses.
This visiting program includes course such as Daily Chinese Listening and Speaking, Introduction to China, Introduction to Chinese Folk Music, Introduction to Chinese Paintings, Introduction to Martial Art and Shadow Boxing of China, etc. The students also visited places of interest like the Yellow Crane Tower, the ancient city of Jinzhou, Hubei Provincial Museum, and Mulan Tianchi during their stay in Jianghan University. In the ending ceremony, all the Japanese students used Chinese language in their summary and thank speeches to talk about what they feel of this program.
In the ceremony speech delivered by Secretary Lei Wanzhong, he pointed out that the successful operation of this program has strengthened ties between China and Japan, as well as building further cooperation opportunities between the higher education institutes of these two countries. The Japanese students now had a better understanding of the Chinese culture and society. This program has propelled the friendly communication of the two countries and enriched the cooperation results between Wuhan city and Oita city.
