On June 25th, the Pre-Departure Meeting for the Summer Micro Study Tour Program in the University of Lincoln 2018 was held in Classroom 204 of the School of International Education. The lecture was given by Mr. Fan Heli, the Project Manager of the China Representative Office of the University of Lincoln. The meeting was presided over by Shi Ranxin, a teacher from the School of International Education.
At the meeting, Mr. Fan Heli introduced that the program was led by Wu Min, an associate professor at the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of Shanghai Institute of Technology. He emphasized the program discipline and required all students to be punctual, unified, and secure, guarantee the report to the teachers, attend the class in strict accordance with the curriculum, go out in a group, and prohibit alcohol abuse, and also required all students to abide by the discipline of foreign affairs, safeguard the image and dignity of the motherland, and demonstrate the excellent quality of our students. Later, Mr. Fan also introduced important information such as flight, transfer, leave and arrive at customs, arrangements of shuttle bus for pick-up in airport, dormitory arrangements, course arrangements, visits arrangements, and notices in the UK.
There are 20 students in Jianghan Unversity (JHUN) participating in the Summer Micro Study Tour Program in the University of Lincoln 2018, which will be held from July 28th to August 12th. It will mainly provide courses in English language and chemistry related courses, such as introduction to chemistry in energy, change, and electrical structure, organic synthesis, purification and molecular properties, allowing students to experience the different concepts and teaching methods in British education.
