On the morning of Sep. 15th, the closing ceremony of the 2017 Jianghan University (JHUN) Summer University was hold in Meeting Room 105 of the School of International Education. Main persons-in-charge of the Teaching Affairs, the Postgraduate Services, the School of Business, the School of International Education and other departments and schools of JHUN, students and volunteers of the Summer University attended the ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Chen Kai, Deputy Dean of the School of International Education.
All students and volunteers obtained two types of certificates of completion and transcripts issued by JHUN and the International Association of Electronic Sciences (IAFeS). They also received ocarinas and brush pens with Chinese characteristics from JHUN as souvenirs.
Lasting two weeks, the 2017 JHUN Summer University was sponsored by JHUN and IAFeS. Students were divided into groups to study and discuss seven themes, which were business English, communication, social security and insurance, Chinese basics, international finance, big data & cloud computing, China economy and Wuhan city cluster, and then visited corresponding projects.
The 2017 JHUN Summer University was aimed at providing an international study and exchange platform, gathering teachers and students of different nationalities, different languages, different cultural backgrounds in Wuhan to study together, share experience, exchange and explore continuously.
