In the afternoon of April 19th, the School of International Education organized the first meeting of the implementation of Short-Term Overseas Study and Exchange Program 2018, which was hosted by Shi Xinran, a teacher from the School of International Education.
At the meeting, Teacher Shi organized and selected the student leaders of various programs, established private WeChat groups, and gave guidance and directions related to passports, invitations, visas, foreign language training, safety education, pre-departure meetings, itineraries, air tickets and costs to the students who will take the study tour. She also distributed the Application Form for Students to Join Short-Term Overseas Study and Exchange Program of JHUN, Commitment Letter for Students to Join Short-Term Overseas Study and Exchange Program of JHUN, Letter of Consent from Parents (Guardians) and Recognition Form of Credits for Students to Join Short-Term Overseas Study and Exchange Program of JHUN, etc.
The meeting was attended by 150 students from 10 programs, including 2018 Hubei Outstanding Student Overseas Study Tour Program in JHUN (to Harvard University), the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Camp (IETC) in the US, the Leadership Enhancement Program in California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in the US, the Summer Micro Study Tour Program in the University of Lincoln, the Visiting Program in University of Sydney/ University of Melbourne in Australia, the Summer Study Tour Program in IESA Arts and Culture School in Paris, France, the Study Tour Program in the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, the Study Tour Program in Cheongju University in the South Korea, the Visiting Program in the Nanyang Technological University, and the Visiting Program in the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany.
