2013年1月6日，为服务于学校“应用性、创新性、国际性”人才培养目标为宗旨，学校成立国际教育学院。5年来，国际教育学院一直走在江汉大学国际化发展和国际性人才培养的探索之路上。

教育：一如校训所言”立德、致用、兼容、创新”。国际教育学院格外重视中外文化交流，来自亚、欧、非、美、澳五大洲的学历生、语言生、交流生、短期团组，都在这里留下了身影，东西文化，荟萃一堂，在这里你既能感受到非洲鼓演绎出的欢快节奏，也能体验到印度舞展现出的迷人身姿，教育与体验，融合在学院生活的日常里，扎实的理论学习之余，我由中外老师们指引着，向“体验”的学途中迈进。

体验：世界这么大，你想去看看吗？在国际教育学院，你可以与中外最优秀的同龄人分享知识，你也可以从这里扬帆起航，目标是五大洲四大洋，每年都有大批在校学生，在学校的支持下风风火火闯世界，足迹年轻，笔记潇洒，世界地图上，星罗棋布，全球为你准备了顶尖的导师、跨学科的课程、丰富的资源以及宽阔而又自由的学习空间。

交流：多元而包容的文化，春风化雨般滋润了国际教育学院，孕育了莘莘国际教育学院的中外学子，他们曾经这样定义自己的时光，他的故事，也许曾经刻录了中文歌曲，我听见了“月亮代表我的心”；他的故事，也许曾定格了浑汗如雨，我该用“英姿飒爽”更贴切；他的故事也许曾经记载了丹青月舞，我选择了余音缭绕。大家交流着彼此生动丰富的故事，给我们带来了财富、知识、经验和快乐，更带来了成功与希望。

探索：回首5年，成就了今天的国际教育学院，当然也可以是你的国际教育学院，你的国际教育学院由你定义，这里始终为热爱探索的你，奉献最好的氛围与环境，师生之间，凡论学事，谈笑往来，不拘于俗，在这里，学习不再局限于课堂，我们要在更广阔的空间中去探索未知事物。

On January 6^th, 2013, School of International Education was founded, for the purpose of meeting the standard of “Application, Innovationand Globalization” proposed by our university. In more than 5 years, School of International Education (SIE) still for paving the way of international communication between Jianghan University and world universities, as well as the cultivation of international students and talents.

TO EDUCATE

As the university motto claims, “Virtue, Application, Inclusiveness, Innovation”, SIE is particularly keen on cultural exchanges between Chinese students and teachers and their foreign counterparts. Degree students and language students, as well as exchange students and short-term visiting student groups, from various continents, Asia, Europe, Africa, America, and Australia, come to our school for study and exchange. Diverse cultures assembled here. You can experience the fast and joyful beats of African drums, and the miraculous dancing of Hindus, among many others. Education and experience merge here in the daily activities of SIE. Besides the conscientious effort in acquiring theoretical knowledge, I am also guided by the Chinese and foreign teachers to a new path of “experience” learning.

TO EXPERIENCE

The world is so large, that you would want to have a look at what it is like. In SIE, you could share what you have learned with people of your age from all over the world. Starting from here, you could also sail to different destinations around the globe. Each year, a large number of students of our university went to explore their overseas experience, with their passion and youth, exuberant writings and learning. Teachers and tutors from different countries prepared top courses and excellent cross-disciplinary schemes for you to take on and move on. This is really a broad scope of free world and enriching resources.

TO EXCHANGE

Multiculturalism and academic tolerance supported the development of SIE and educates generations of SIE members. They have defined their own session with such memorable stories, like the Chinese song “The Moon Represents My Heart”. Stories also record on strenuous effort, that I can describe by using the word “valiant and heroic in bearing”; there also stories of “Chinese traditional calligraphy and painting, as well as the lunar style dancing”, or the melodious tune of Chinese zithers and guqin. We tell each other stories of vivid and rich experience. We brought each other understandings of fortune, knowledge, experience and joy. We have given each other opportunities of achievement and hope.

TO EXPLORE

Looking back the five years of SIE, I see SIE as yours and mine. Each member has his or her own understanding of SIE, that caters for everyone who loves exploration with the best environment and support. Teachers and students talk and have fun here with no restrictions of any sort. We learn here in and beyond classrooms, and we tend to know more about the unknown world.

TO ENJOY

This is a wide stage waiting for your performance, a place that you can realizeyou dream in college. You can start defining your own college life, and experience ethnic way of life during the “One World The Family”international festivals. Or you can try tasting the delicious Chinese food in the program “Warm Winter, Enjoy Your Life”, as well as extending your power of capability in international team programs. The sports meeting is also there for you to exhibit your way of youth vitality.

This is the School of International Education at Jianghan University. Let us get education together, experience together, communicate and exchange our experience together, and enjoy all together of this world!
