自新冠肺炎疫情爆发以来，按照上级要求江汉大学国际学生公寓实施封闭管理，截止至3月28日，国际教育学院涌现出一批勇于担当、默默付出的优秀国际学生，不仅在各项防疫防控工作中充当志愿者，还主动承担各类翻译任务，协助学院开展宣传工作，这些学生在抗击新冠肺炎疫情、维护校园稳定、保障国际学生公寓安全等方面做出了突出贡献。为鼓励我院所有国际学生团结一心、共克时艰。经研究，学院决定对CHISHIMBA MUKUKA等30名表现突出的在校国际学生进行第一批表彰，希望受到表彰的学生再接再厉、继续发挥模范带头作用，也希望其他学生能向他们学习。同时，也希望校外国际学生将自己抗击新冠肺炎疫情的优秀事迹提供给年级辅导员，共同营造一个人人争先、处处公益的良好生活学习环境。

Notice on Commending Outstanding Students for Epidemic Prevention and Control
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19, in accordance with the requirements of higher authorities, Jianghan University has implemented quarantine management for international student apartments. As of March 28, many outstanding international students from the School of International Education have bravely taken responsibilities and made contributions silently. They not only acted as volunteers in epidemic prevention and control work, but also actively undertook translation tasks and assisted the school with publicizing work. These students have made outstanding contributions in fighting the COVID-19, maintaining campus stability, and ensuring the safety of international student apartments.In order to encourage all international students in our school to unite and jointly go through the hard time, our school decides to commend the first batch of 30 outstanding international students, including CHISHIMBA MUKUKA. We hope that they will continue to play their exemplary role and other students will learn from them.At the same time, we also hope that international students outside of our school can tell their outstanding stories in fighting COVID-19 epidemic to their grade counsellors, so as to jointly create a good living and learning environment where everyone strives to take initiatives and contribute to public welfare.
